A roadside billboard is 50000 naira for 7 days, one slot in each of 38 areas. A sea plot is a different product at 500 naira for 7 days.
Billboards versus sea plots
All 38 billboard slots share that 50000 naira price and the 7 day run. Areas run from Ikeja road through Sangotedo. One area, one slot. The sea is not that grid. A sea plot costs 500 naira for 7 days. The water currently shows 476 placed ads and 32 holds.
Do not mix the two rents. A billboard is fifty thousand and a sea plot is five hundred. The run fee to stand for governor is also 50000 naira, which matches a single billboard week and does not buy the billboard. The names and lines below are the ads running with the city, in the words the city uses.

Meetumo is the events line. Blockfest Africa 2026 runs Thursday 22 to Friday 23 October from 8:00 at the National Art Theatre in Lagos, from 7500 naira. The ALX and Data Community Africa demo day is Saturday 7 November from 9:00 in Lagos and is free. Those dates are event times, not a billboard booking.
Buy a billboard when you want a name over one area for a week, and buy a sea plot when you want a cheap tile on the water. The counts differ, 38 areas against 476 placed sea ads and 32 holds. Players confuse them because both last 7 days. The price is the correction.
Sponsor lines are advertisements that run with the city. They are not government policy and they are not wish cards. Meetumo's two events are real dates you can attend or ignore. They do not change Franka's term and they do not open the airport.
The buyers on the boards, including repeated Big Banju creatives and GetEquity at slot 3, show who was up. The eight named sponsors are the ones with a full line. Read a full line when you want the pitch. Read the buyer list when you want to know a slot was occupied.
